Terms and Conditions

As a professional Mobile Disco and to ensure there are no misunderstandings

we work to the following terms and conditions


A written quotation will be sent to clients detailing the Date, times, venue and function. It is the client's responsibility to ensure these details are correct. The quotation is valid for 10 days. The booking may be confirmed by payment of a booking deposit.

Booking Deposit:

A booking deposit is required to secure the date for your booking. These details will be issued with your confirmation letter


All outstanding balances must be paid by the date specified on the quotation and booking confirmation if no written quotation or booking confirmation has been issued balance is payable on the date of the booking prior to commencement of the event.

Access to Venue:

We will require adequate access to the venue prior to & after the booking to allow setting up & breaking down of equipment. A minimum of 45 minutes (but preferably 60 minutes) should be allowed for setting up and 60 minutes for packing up and vacating the premises.


We normally need an approximate space of 4 x 3 metres. We do our utmost to work with any space constraints there may be.


The client is responsible for the provision of a suitable and safe electricity supply. We require a minimum of two 13-amp mains sockets.

Cancellation by Client:

Booking Deposits are non-refundable. Any cancellation of a confirmed booking less than 1 month prior to the booking date will be liable to pay the full agreed price.

Extended Playing Time:

Wherever possible we will aim to accommodate client's requests for extensions to playing time. This will be subject to an additional hourly charge.


It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the venue is suitably licensed for the event.


If at any time before or during the function we deem our persons or property to be under threat, verbally or physically, we reserve the right to either suspend or terminate the disco without further notice. In the event of this happening refunds are not applicable.

Which Areas Do You Cover?

Based in Bristol, We’ll cover the radius of 30 Miles from our home address, we are able to travel anywhere in the UK but they’ll be an added fuel surcharge to your booking.

How Will The DJ's Dress?

We have a smart and appropriate uniform which allows our DJ's to work comfortably and makes them easy to identify should you or your guests need to speak to them.

This consists of Black / White Shirt (Tie will be worn for all formal events) and Dark Trousers.

Whilst we have never found an occasion where this dress code hasn't been appropriate we will of course be happy to discuss this should you have any concerns.


We use top of the range professional sound and lighting equipment to ensure the best possible quality. By using both twin CD Players, MP3 Players, Laptops should one fail we can always complete the evening using solely the remaining piece of equipment. We carry spare amplifiers to every booking so we really have got every eventuality covered


Although it’s never happened, because of the number of DJ's that work for Have ‘A’ Disco we are always flexible in the event of sickness or an accident we would simply ask one of our other Dj's to step in.

Our Requirements?

As a professional mobile disco we are fully equipped for every eventuality.

All we ask is for:-

  • An Area of Ideally 4m x 3m
  • Two 13 amp Mains sockets within 10 metres of where the disco is to be located
  • A Safe Environment

Will I Get A Written Contract?

Yes, once we receive your deposit we confirm your booking in writing meaning we have a legally binding written contractual agreement.

This guarantees total peace of mind for our clients who can relax knowing that everything to do with their booking is finalised.

Playlists and Requests: ****NEW INTERACTIVE SITE****

We welcome a playlist giving us an indication of your favourite Tunes Artists or Bands. These help us to get an idea of what you are looking for. Ideally we would suggest a maximum of 100 tracks or artists on your list to ensure we can incorporate other requests and a balanced.

We will of course also play reasonable and appropriate requests from your guests at the function to ensure they too can hear their favourite tunes.

Don't forget you are paying for our expertise in keeping the dance floor full, so we will incorporate tracks from playlists or requests where we feel they will they work best.

What Insurance Do You Carry?

As a professional Mobile disco we like to do things properly and make sure we've got every angle covered. Therefore we carry the following insurances.



All our equipment is P.A.T (portable appliance tested) and insured so that if for any reason it gets damaged or stolen it won’t affect your special occasion
